Evolution – Simple Answer
Q. Please tell me simply why you don’t believe in Evolution. A. I DON’T believe in Evolution because: It opposes the Truth of God and the God of Truth, seeking to discredit Him and deny Man’s accountability to Him It is an ongoing THEORY, never proven, that has been shown to be wrong, even dishonest, by Science and Scientists Because it demands FAITH to accept its tenets, it is a religion opposed to the True God.
Evolution – Reasoned Answer
Q. Why shouldn’t I believe in Evolution? Scientists do, and most people do. Intelligent Design must give place to Evolution. A. First point; Evolution is not fact, only a theory and a wicked one at that. Secondly, many scientists actually reject Evolution and more and more are openly turning to accept the God of Intelligent Design. One reason amongst many, that scientists reject Evolution is that it is impossible to explain even the simplest of the incredible designs we find in…
Evolution – Could it be True?
Q. Could Evolution not, after all, be a possibility? A. In science, theories proposed should be supported by some evidence. Yet, for the incredible claim that life sprang into being out of non-living materials, or some “primordial soup”, no evidence is offered. Mathematicians tell us that, given the conditions evolutionists claim existed at the origin of life, the chance of evolving the simple, common, iso 1 cytochrome “c” protein is one chance out of one followed by 75 zeroes. But that’s…
Evolution – a Workable Paradigm?
Q. Is Evolution a Workable Paradigm? A. Here are excerpts from What Darwin Couldn’t Know, by Dr. Werner Gitt. While Darwin himself may have regarded the implications of his message with some trepidation, today’s ever more godless world adulates its patron saint in an endless parade of journalistic jubilation. His conclusion, that all species could be traced back to a single common ancestor, is not scientifically sustainable. After him, mankind lost its special status of being created in God’s image, becoming instead…
Darwin’s ‘Proofs’ and Spiritism
Q. With Darwin’s 150th Anniversary we’re hearing many proofs of Evolution. Isn’t it time the Church adjusts to these? A. Please put “proofs” in inverted commas because Evolution is but a sketchy, unproven theory. There is no reason at all for the media and academia to insist it is pure fact; it is NOT fact! Did you know that Darwinism, besides being laughably devoid of scientific basis, has its roots in spiritualism? Welsh Naturalist, Alfred Russell Wallace, shared Darwin’s beliefs and encouraged…
Charles Darwin
Q. Should the 200th Anniversary of the great Charles Darwin’s birth not be celebrated whether we agree with him or not? A. Hardly! Charles Darwin’s wicked theory has given atheism an intellectual footing and swallowed many a precious soul. Modern Evolutionists often give the impression that Evolution was accepted by the scientific community of Darwin’s day. But this is not at all so. In fact, some of the most influential scientists of the day were hostile to Evolution. For example,…
Is believing Evolution OK?
Q. I don’t believe in Divine Design but do marvel at the wonders of Nature which makes me believe in Evolution. Why shouldn’t I? A. The kakapo parrot of New Zealand could not have been created through Evolution! God’s creative variety and genius is unlimited. One of His more unusual creatures was thought extinct until rediscovered in 1958. This most unusual parrot is one of only a few known parrots that prefers to sleep during the day and becomes active at night.…
Bee Dances Not Evolution
Q. How Did the Bee Dance EVOLVE? A. “And we also don’t know how it evolved” is how a fascinating little report on bee dancing ends (“Decoding Bees’ Wild Waggle Dances,” www.Wired.com). By radar-tracking bees a team of British scientists has proved that bees use their little dances to communicate the source of food to each other, as has been long suspected. The report says that, after finding food, scout bees returning to the hive dance on the vertical walls of the…
Yoga is Not for Christians
Q. What’s wrong with me doing Yoga unto the Lord? A. A Hindu mystic and a Yoga Master admit that Yoga is not in any way compatible with Christian Beliefs; their article is available upon request. God’s Word is full of His rejection of His people blending their worship of Him with pagan practices like Hinduism. Yoga and Christianity are not compatible! Hollywood’s Julia Roberts features in ‘Eat, Pray, Love’ – a glowing cinematic portrayal of a sanitised, Americanised version of Hinduism.…
The Simpsons
Q. To me The Simpsons are really funny but one of the brethren told me it’s bad and I shouldn’t watch them. What do you think? A. The Simpsons Movie, a spin-off of the Simpsons sitcom, grossed $72 million in its first weekend. The Simpsons animated sitcom is the longest running sitcom in US television history and will soon start its 19th season in the States. Time magazine named it the 20th century’s best television series, and in 2000 it…
The Shack
Q. There’s much controversy about The Shack. I’ve read it and am totally confused; it’s beautiful but strange. I worry that it’s not OK! A. Grains of Poison in The ShackThere are millions of references to The Shack on the Internet (try Google) so we’ll not add another commentary. We don’t advocate reading the novel as it contains suggestions of blatant error if not downright false doctrine. If you knew that a pie had grains of strychnine in it, which part…
Some Nigerian Theology
Q. The Nigerian Church disaster has revealed some strange doings, if not doctrines, under TB Joshua. With SCOAN followings growing rapidly in Africa, and here at home, what are your views on this popular movement? A. Over the years, TB Joshua’s Synagogue Church of All Nations, SCOAN, has enjoyed remarkable success as tens of thousands have gathered from all over Africa, and indeed, the world, to their Lagos Headquarters for the ‘Prophet’s’ teaching and especially for the miraculous signs and wonders…
