A. Generally, Substance Abuse may be detected by changes in normal or characteristic behaviour such as mood swings, anger, hostility or anxiety. Excessive or unusual use of Lip-ice, Vaseline or Zambuk – as pupils at some Cape schools mix cocaine into these gels to apply to their lips during school hours.
